Playing an instrument takes a lot of time and effort, but the pay-off is most always worth it. Learning what instrument to play can be a difficult process, but to help show you the similarities and differences between the most popular stringed-instruments is Sullivan and Janszen Band’s own Brian Sullivan.

He started playing an acoustic 6-string guitar during his junior year of high school, so now picking up a different instrument does not seem quite as foreign. He taught himself the 6-String Acoustic and 6-string electric pretty early, and more recently he picked 12-string acoustic, the mandolin, and the ukulele with ease.
