iPhone 11 features price drop
Apple has been the superior phone company since the release of the first iPhone on June 29th 2007, and has dominated the phone market ever since. Prices on the iPhone have always been something consumers of the product have bickered about, but now the latest iPhone’s price is cheaper than the previous model. I was curious to find out what makes the newest iPhone cheaper, is it smaller or larger than the previous version, does it have more features or less? Continue reading to find out exactly what makes the latest iPhone, Apple’s greatest phone product yet.
The iPhone 11 with 64 gigabytes of memory is currently priced in stores at $700, while the iPhone X is currently priced at $750 for 64 gigabytes of memory. In this article my goal is to compare and contrast the differences and similarities of the iPhone 11 and iPhone X.
The iPhone 11 has more color choices and is now sold in the new colors, white, black, yellow, red, purple and green. Dolby Atmos is another feature for the speaker of the iPhone 11, Dolby Atmos’ produces sound in a 360 degree sound field, practically almost a portable surround sound device. The iPhone 11 did not only implement new features to improve sounds, they also added a 6.1″ Liquid retina display. The Liquid Retina Display relies on a higher level of pixels-per-inch to create a paper-like screen effect where pixels are not visible to the naked eye. Providing stronger protection for the Liquid Retina Display, the iPhone 11 comes with what Apple describes as “more durable glass.” Apple says its made from the toughest glass ever in a smartphone and offered improved water resistance, boosting overall durability.
The previous model, the iPhone X was still one of a kind when it was first released. But where is the line drawn between the newest and previous versions of the iPhone. I do not just want to find a simple economic explanation on exactly why the retail price for the iPhone 11 is $50 less than the previous model. I’d much rather find a specific flaw, or maybe even just a manufacturing issue that had occurred. Everything I have read online has given me more reason’s to want to buy the iPhone 11 rather than the more expensive iPhone X, unless making that decision is exactly what apple wants me to do.
