This year has been quite the disappointment for the film industry with blockbuster movies being pushed back. This year has particularly affected the Marvel franchise. They have had to push back many of their projects. These include movies like Black Widow and The Eternals. It also includes their new Disney + shows too. The one movie that most are concerned about is Spider Man 3 and when it will hit theatres.

“Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 3 has been delayed by roughly one month to 17th December due to the coronavirus pandemic, moving from an earlier date in November,” said Radio Times in their most recent article on the movie.

We do not know yet the full plot of the movie, but fans have made theories with Marvel’s most recent announcements on the cast. Marvel has released that Jamie Foxx will reprise his role as Electro since last playing the role in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. They also released that Doctor Strange will appear in the film too.

This has made fans believe that the film will have to do with Doctor Strange’s new sequel coming out called Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Many people believe that previous Spider-Man actors, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield, will make an appearance too. In fact, Fandom Wire has announced that a Sony source has confirmed that both Garfield and Maguire have signed on to reprise their roles. This movie has the potential to be a fan favorite if just one of these rumors are true.

The title of the movie is not confirmed but names have been thrown out there. One of these that has been getting a lot of attention is the name Spider-Man: Home Run. A website named Independent also suggested that there have been rumors of the title being Spider-Man: Homesick. People believe one of these could be the title for the upcoming movie. To me, both just sound weird, but it could make more sense as we get more information about the plot.

Tom Holland has been his usual self and has been teasing us. He just recently put out a video confirming he landed in Atlanta and are filming via CultureCrave on Twitter. It is great to know that they are filming and that we will get this movie at some point even with everything that has happened this past year.

With all this information this movie is bound to be one we will not forget, and I cannot wait to see it in the theatres hopefully next year.
