Fantasy football: Week four
This has been one wacky season so far. Your top tier running backs aren’t performing, and neither are the quarterbacks. Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees are two that have my mind. LeSean McCoy and Jamaal Charles have done nothing of substance so far this year. With the first round of byes this week, this is when you find out if you drafted right. Anyone can draft starters, but it’s if you can find the hidden stars on your bench that will breakout. It’s what makes fantasy football what it is, it drives people nuts.
Byes: Browns, Broncos, Bengals, Seahawks, Rams, Cardinals
QB: Drew Brees, I know that I have picked him already this year but this one is a must. Brees versus that horrid Cowboy defense. They were the worst in the league last year and are close to it this year. Brees is not going to have a bad week this week, look for Brees to be the top QB this week now that Peyton Manning is on a bye.
RB: Le’Veon Bell known as that dude who hurdled someone from Boise State in college, has looked like one of the best running backs in the league thus far. He plays a Tampa Bay team that has allowed more than 10 plus points to running backs in the first three weeks of the season. Bell has averaged 5.9 yards per carry which is amongst tops in the league. I like Bell to run all over the Bucs
WR: Steve Smith against the Panthers, yes the Panthers, and yes Steve Smith. His stock in Baltimore has reason because if the injury to Dennis Pitta. Smith has been Flacco’s favorite target this year so far and I don’t expect that to end. Plus a little revenge game against the Panthers. Steve Smith will have a great performance.
TE: Jimmy Graham. Against the Cowboys, this should be a great week for him. As Brees’ favorite target, I expect the Saints to be in the redzone a lot. Look for Graham to have a 12 plus point outing.
Flex: Kelvin Benjamin has turned out to be a great pick for the Panthers. He was the hero for the Seminoles in the National championship game catching the game winning touchdown now, Cam Newton’s target. I like Benjamin as a flex because he has flown under the radar of most fantasy owners and is a deep threat with his height and speed. I like Kelvin this week against Baltimore
