Last Saturday night, the undefeated Elder Soccer Team headed out to St. X to take on the Bombers (who had a 6-2- 3 record). Unfortunately, the Bombers took home the W with a final score of 2-0. The game started off with the Bombers scoring in the first ten minutes. The Panthers held St. X off for the rest of the first half, but were unable to score. The Bombers scored another goal early in the second half which ended up being the only other goal during the game. While the Elder Panthers were not able to hold off the Bombers, there is still hope for a great season and high hopes for a run at state. Now 9-1-2, the Panthers sit in second place for the GCL with only four games left until the post season. The Panthers take on Badin, Beavercreek, Purcell Marian, and Moeller over the next two weeks. Make sure to get out to the PAC this Tuesday, October 2 nd , as the Elder Soccer Team faces Badin in their last home game of the season!
