Whether you’re a senior about to graduate, or a freshman that just arrived at Elder, you have most likely seen a tall skinny man walking through the hallways. An encounter with this mysterious man will possibly lead to a short conversation or no talk at all. If one has yet to come face to face with the concealed man, fear no more, because your interaction is almost inevitable.

This man is none other than the famous senior known as Brady Wise. If you have not heard him by his government name, you may have heard others refer to him as “Beetle”, “B”, or even “B-Wise”. Brady is often recognized for his biased opinions towards the Seattle Seahawks and his love for playing College Football ‘25. He spends most of his time playing video games, goofing around in the library, and working at the Bell Event Centre. Not only is he employed as a server at the Bell Event Centre, he also is in the training of becoming an accomplished electrician once he graduates high school. Even though Brady’s accomplishments may impress others, he is known for so much more throughout the school.
As stated before, the odds of encountering Brady Wise are almost certain through one’s career at Elder. With this encounter, there is a large probability that he may have asked you three important questions, “What’s your main Goal?”, “Whatcha Like?”, and “What do you do on the low?” Even though these questions may be confusing and bizarre to the average student, it is very important for one to answer them.
In a recent interview, Corey Selle ‘25 spoke about his encounter with the peculiar Brady Wise. Corey currently is a fellow classmate and colleague of Brady, and has certainly spent more time with him than others. Unlike most, Corey has experienced Brady Wise’s questioning much more than any other student. During a recent encounter, Brady asked Corey, “What’s your main goal?” Without hesitation Corey quickly answered by saying, “Get loose, and get right with it.” This question was no shocker to Corey, as he has been asked this multiple times before.
This was not the only question Brady asked Corey, he also asked Mr. Selle, “Whatcha Like?” As stated before, Corey was no shocker to these bland questions that B asks. Corey briefly responded with, “You know what I like and appreciate.” Corey refused to go into detail on what he meant by that, and seconded his answer with, “if you know, you know.”

Despite witnessing Corey’s odd interaction with Beetle, I decided to take Brady into some questioning of his own. Once I got ahold of Brady, one can only assume that the questions I asked him were much similar to the one’s he shares with others. Unfortunately, Brady was quite flavorless with his answers, as he replied with “get loose (tch tch)” to every question. It is still undetermined what “get loose” means as well as the unusual sound he made when closing his remark. Yet, it was decided that it was only something a person with a mind like Brady Wise would understand.
Unfortunately, three “well-respected” students, Seth Readnower, Adam Arling, and Will Postel are all plotting against Brady.
