The ravens fell apart early this NFL season, but now they have they turned in around?

The 25-26 Baltimore Raven aren’t doing so great in their division. All of a sudden, they were below the steelers and at one point even behind the Bengals at third in the standings.

Injuries affecting Lamar Jackson

The injury suffered by Lamar Jackson earlier this NFL season will effect on how they are playing this year and what will continue to happen after he returns. Lamar needs to be aware of his surroundings and be sure to be ready for any hit.

Lamar getting injured is not entirely his fault. His offensive linemen need to be sure to hold as many people as possible back and make sure they can't reach Jackson. They need to be strong and try not to let him get sacked.

What will happen these next games with Jackson back.

Hopefully with Lamar back in the lineup and beating the Miami Dolphins, he will continue to play well and be healthy. Also, the offensive line needs to make sure they are strong and try not to let the other teams defense get to Jackson. Considering all this, the Ravens are favored to make a comeback and hopefully not lose any more games.

So far, the Ravens aren’t making a big thing of themselves this NFL season because just last year in the 2024-2025 season they were doing great. They started off a little weak, but they were making a comeback towards the end and had their game faces on. I watched most of these games and supported them, because I am a Ravens fan and I like to see them win games. I was happy they made it to the playoffs. They beat the Steelers in the first round and even though my family is Bengals fans they supported what I liked and cheered for the Ravens while they were in the playoffs.

The 2025-26 NFL regular season for the Ravens isn’t looking so good, they are currently at 2nd place in the standings with 3 wins and 5 losses. Losing their first game to the Buffalo Bills 41-40. The second week they came back and defeated the Cleveland Browns 41-17. The third week of the regular season they lost to the Detroit Lions 30-38, with Lamar Jackson being injured, which led to a slide of losing their next three games. Then came the BYE week. Coming back, they beat the Bears and the Miami Dolphins.

Now thankfully I was able to reach out to some football coaches like Elder”s Coach Ramsey to see what he thought of the Ravens falling off and what he thinks is happening with the team’s offensive line and injuries.

When I asked Coach Ramsey what he thinks is going on he said, “Definitely injuries. they are getting healthy. I would guess they won’t lose too many more games this season.” Even though the Ravens aren’t doing so well this season they are considered by many experts to be capable of making a comeback and winning more games and even possibly making it to the playoffs. This past weekend, they beat the Vikings and next will face the Browns, hopefully winning.

The next few weeks if the Bengals lose, the Ravens will stay second in their division behind the Steelers. If the Steelers keep losing they will bump up to first right now because currently the Ravens have four wins and five losses while the Steelers have five wins and four losses. Next week, the Bengals go against the Steelers and hopefully the Steelers lose so the Ravens can take their spot atop the division.
