Is Floyd “Money” Mayweather the best boxer to ever live?

For me, I think that Floyd is the best fighter to ever see the ring.  Floyd Mayweather ended his storied boxing career by knocking out the most feared MMA fighter on the planet. After defeating Conor McGregor on a Saturday night in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena, Mayweather rode off into the sunset holding the most pristine record in all of boxing history.

50-0.

Many in the boxing media praise Mayweather’s legacy as a fighter.  He is said to be the best of his time.  He is also said to be a great example for young fighters to follow.

Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix summoned the totality of his last fight, which was a 12-round decision against Andre Berto in the year 2015.

For Floyd’s last fight he gave the people want they wanted, the world’s best fighter, versus the world’s best MMA fighter, Conor McGregor.  This fight spurred a lot of controversy between people, asking who was going to win or even who was the better fighter and why.

For his last fight, he ended it in the way people wanted.  He accomplished this with a great hard fought victory against a very hard competitor like Conor McGregor.

Floyd claims that he is returning to the ring to fight Manny Pacquiao for the rematch.  Manny is coming off his first knockout win in almost nine years, beating Lucas Mattysse.  CBS sports says, “if the two did square off in 2018, it would be one of the best caps imaginable for the sport.”

Signing off is your favorite quill writer, Frankie Sabato.  See ya later, Panthers.

Growing up is the hardest thing to do, but as of right now I do not plan on growing up any time soon.

In the words of Joey Tribbiani, “So don’t be a grownup and come watch TV with me in the fort.”
